I wanted to share with you the totals from our Campaign for the Kids Christmas offering. Last Sunday, we raised $9,540! That is amazing!
This money will allow us to refurbish, redesign and redecorate part of our Family Ministry wing. Jason and Jennifer Jacks will be leading the redesign project. I am so grateful for their willingness to serve. The project will begin in January.
I also wanted to let you know that our church will be finishing the year “in the black” financially. The last 16 months have been very challenging as many churches(in the area and across the nation) have had to lay off staff and significantly cut budgets. Because of God’s faithfulness and your generosity, we have been able to navigate a down economy.
This is a good example of why I love being your pastor. Just like Paul, I thank my God every time I remember you. In all of my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now… Thank you for making the partnership joy-filled!
Dude!! I am so blessed I got to know you at Asbury!! You are truly God’s Servant and I am lucky to be able to call you a friend. God bless you for allowing Him to work through you. Have a great Christmas!!!
