God is amazing!
I have to admit I was blown away this morning. As a staff, we had been praying all week that God would do something big and He did not disappoint. We baptized 17 people today! Unbelievable! 10 were scheduled beforehand(checkout the baptism videos at www.stonescrossing.com/451110.ihtml). Then, after giving an invitation, we had 7 more go forward for baptism. We also were overjoyed to see 1 person pray to receive Christ as well.
And I hope you had the opportunity to meet our newest members: Melissa Valencia, Brian and Lindsay Trivett, Roy and Sally Aiken, Tom and Laura Combs, Rod Grismore, Dustin and Jessie Fluke. God is growing our church family!
Lastly, don’t forget about the Thanksgiving Outreach. We are hoping to provide 75 Thanksgiving Dinners for needy families right here in our community. Next Saturday morning(November 21) from 9am until noon we will be sharing God’s love in this practical way by distributing these meals. So don’t miss out on the blessing! And don’t hesitate to bring your whole family.
How awesome is our God! I am sad that I didn’t stay for 10:45. I do want to say first service made me want to get baptized AGAIN.
